I get R-E-A-L-L-Y ticked off when I see another INSANELY STUPID waste of money by one of these NERDS that try to pass themsleves off as

"Pontiac engine builders." I tell you what - all you internet "Experts" - go ahead and pass this picture around, and the first dope that says

"What's the problem with that?" well, you'll know you have another guy with NO mechanical education, or worse,

any common sense.

This picture is fresh from a 4.250 stroke, 6.800 rod pile. The owner got talked into having "O-rings" installed on a

STREET ENGINE - That's just for starters. Not only are o-rings for OVER 1000 hp Pontiac engines,

these "builders" used a $5.00 head gasket that left the o-ring exposed. A couple of phone calls later I find out that these jerks use this head gasket

on most of their engines. The point? See the exposed o-ring?

O-ring function is LOST at that point!

So...why waste the time, the machining, AND your money?

Answer?

THERE IS NO INTELLIGENT REASON!!

I've made almost 1000 horsepower without O-rings and never had a head gasket sealing problem.

It's the same old crap I've been seeing for years from these people that are literally stealing your money.

- sell the customer what he wants, in words, without any true functional necessity.
